Title: Okuma Set up and Operator
Location: Torrance, CA.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with a Minimum 4 years of Experience. Must be familiar with C.N.C Procedures, controls, and be able to read precision and calibrated tools
Description: Operator must be able to setup and run Okuma CNC lathes, perform all offsets and tool changes, download and save back CNC programs with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift and load up to 20 lb. bar stock into Bar feeder.

  • Meets all quality standards in performing assigned tasks
  • Complete all production forms accurately
  • Contributes to production goals of assigned Dept.
  • Good understanding of job functions and requirements to succeed
  • Load and unload parts
  • Finish deburring required
  • Check Parts Machined and Reference Tooling
  • Must follow all OSHA standards as well as all written and verbal company safety instructions that have been outlined in the safety manual and training.
Qualifications:
  • Operator must be able to setup and run Okuma CNC lathe
  • Make minor changes to existing CNC programs and tooling when necessary
  • Follow all production documentation (ie. setup sheets, routing sheets, blueprints) and advise on any changes
    Must be able to use all required machinery tools
    Manufacturing shop skills
    Knowledge of Product
    Must be able to perform fast paced repetitive tasks
    Must have good communication skills
    Must be physically able to exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently
    Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
    Ability to bend, stoop, twist at waste level and lift from floor level
    Must understand ISO Quality Policy
    Able to read Blue Print Drawings

Title: Powertrain Calibration Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA.
Education: Required: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering and science degrees with comparable experience in spark ignition powertrains
Description: The Powertrain Calibration Engineer will tune engine and drivetrain, software and hardware parameters to optimize performance and emissions. This position involves the utilization of software calibration tools to tune engine and transmission controllers for performance, emissions and OBD-II. The Powertrain Calibration Engineer will utilize engine and chassis dynamometers for emissions and performance upgrades.
Qualifications:
  • Automotive OEM or Aftermarket Powertrain calibration experience.
  • Deep understanding of spark ignition internal combustion theory and applications.
  • Understanding of modern OEM strategies for engines and transmissions.
  • Understanding of emissions and OBD-II regulations for modern automobiles as they apply to calibration.
  • Operation of chassis and engine dynamometers for performance and emissions.
  • Ability to communicate directly with emissions lab personnel to obtain proper certification testing results.
  • Ability to work with common OEM or aftermarket software calibration toolsets.
Conditions: All potential employees are subject to drug screening and background check. Valid California Driver's License and good driving record. Ability to drive vehicles for tuning purposes. Ability to travel for 1 or more weeks to support emissions testing and environmental testing of the vehicles.

This position entails accurately handling a high volume of technical related phone calls, in a very professional and humble manner. Call center position is located at our corporate offices in Torrance, Ca.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate should posses a well rounded understanding, and strong passion pertaining to the domestic hi-performance aftermarket parts industry. Knowledge of the following required for consideration: Basic to advanced PC skills (a must), Supercharger experience (related to late model domestic applications), Cylinder heads, Intake manifolds and basic Valve Train knowledge. Scan tool knowledge, familiarity with hand-held programmers (A Big Plus!)

  • Familiar with FANUC & MAS-3 and similar CNC controls
Description:
  • Obtain job assignment from Production Supervisor and submit for tool presetting, then follow WIO9247
  • Meets all quality standards in performing assigned tasks.
  • Follow all processes and written work instructions, drawings, schematics and document and report any discrepancies between actual and documented process.
  • Complete all production forms accurately
  • Contributes to production goals of assigned Dept.
  • Good understanding of Job Functions and requirements to succeed.
  • Check Parts Machined and Reference and Calibrated tooling when required
  • Must follow all OSHA standards as well as all written and verbal company safety instructions that have been outlined in the safety manual and training.

Title: Machine Operator
Location: Torrance, CA.

Shift: Day Shift 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Swing Shift 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. - 8 hour shifts Monday thru Friday
Description:
  • Operate machines.
  • Inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Eliminate production of defective parts and products.
  • Loading and unloading parts from C.N.C Machines
  • Deburr
  • Grinding
  • Write down quantities on all required sheets
  • Check dimensions with proper tool gauges
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Oral, Written)
  • Basic Math skills
