Title: Sr. Automotive Calibration Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA.

Description: Edelbrock is seeking a qualified engineer with experience in powertrain calibration. This position requires the utilization of aftermarket calibration software to tune engine and transmission controllers for forced induction SI applications for both performance and emissions.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the utilization of O.E.M. and Aftermarket calibration tools, possess a deep understanding of the workings of internal combustion engines, be familiar with the operation of engine and chassis dynamometers, have experience in emissions testing and CARB certifications and have a clean driving record. A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar is preferred.

Title: Jr. Automotive Calibration Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA.
Education: BSME Certified
Description: Edelbrock is seeking a motivated mechanical engineer, with strong computer skills and a passion for cars. This is an entry level engineering position that will support the Sr. calibration staff in the development of powertrain calibrations for late model vehicles that have been equipped with Edelbrock hardware including superchargers, manifolds and other performance parts. This individual will work closely with the senior engineers, to learn and develop as a successful member of the calibration team.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a recent engineering graduate with strong computer skills and a passion for cars. Applicants should have a strong understanding of the workings of the internal combustion engine, have some computer programming knowledge, work well with others and be a fast learner. Experience with automotive tuning, a plus.

Title: Mechanical Draftsman
Location: Torrance, CA.
Education: Open
Description: The CAD Draftsman operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, including creating, updating and modifying drawings produced from NX Unigraphics & Pro Engineer 3D modeling software. Proficient at producing drawings/blueprints from CAD models produced in both NX (Unigraphics) and Pro-Engineer (Wildfire/Creo). Must take input and direction from design engineers. Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Must produce and distribute paper drawings within the company. Must execute approved drawing revisions and update both paper and computer files.
Qualifications:
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years experience as a professional draftsman.
  • Must have at least one year of experience with NX (Unigraphics) and Pro-Engineer (Wildfire/Creo).
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs
  • Prolong sitting, walking, stooping, bending.
  • Able to work at a computer for long periods of time
  • Familiarity with CNC machining & aluminum castings a plus
  • Familiarity with internal combustion engine components a plus
