Title: Social Media Coordinator
Description: We're looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to help grow our company's social media reach. We need a candidate who's just as passionate about the automotive aftermarket... as we are!

Our Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of our social media from executing daily posts/tweets and spreading the Edelbrock Passion for Performance worldwide. Other duties include coordinating social media activity with various internal departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of message across multiple networks. We also need somebody who will be responsible for tracking social media influence measurements and developing a regular reporting schedule to update internal staff on usage statistics.

We want our Social Media Coordinator to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading. You must be able to write professionally for varied audiences and consistently meet tight deadlines. You will be responsible for content generation, as well as revising supplied copy from other venues, including online communities, press releases, web articles and blogs.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for analyzing consumer initiated conversations and coordinating a response with the proper internal department for a follow-up response
  • Experience with WordPress and Hoote Suite preferred
  • Will work closely with the Advertising and other internal departments
  • Self motivated pro-active employee with the ability to multi task
  • Must be capable of tracking and organizing statistics for reporting purposes
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization), keyword and meta tag experience preferred

Title: 5 Axis CNC Porting Programmer/Setup
Description: Reporting to the "Chief Manufacturing Engineer" the 5 axis programmer is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining all 3-5 axis cnc porting programs for both cylinder head and intake manifold automotive parts.

Responsible for the implementation, execution, control and completion of prototype and 1st run cnc porting jobs.

Job Duties:
  • Must be able to do setups of 3-5 axis vertical cnc machining centers from start to finish with first article 100% buy off.
  • Make changes to existing cnc programs and tooling when necessary.
  • Develop new cnc programs from either cad model or blueprint.
  • Be responsible to design fixture, write g code program (typically using NX), pick tooling, setup machine, machine part to spec.
  • Help develop tooling including special cutting tools and fixturing on new product.
  • Follow all production documentation (ie. setup sheets, routing sheets, blueprints) and advise on any changes.
  • Provide project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and completed.
  • Clearly communicate issues and expectations to management.
  • Document all new part events and milestones and provide status reports to management.
Qualifications:
  • 10 Years work experience in cnc programming.
  • 5 years work experience in 5 axis cnc programming.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of vertical, horizontal cnc machining centers.
  • Must be familiar with Haas & Fanuc cnc controls.
  • Tooling, machining and inspection skills required.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Computer literate in Unigraphics NX CAD/CAM, Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to write G code from 2D drawing.
  • The candidate must be capable of providing art to part support for the CNC shop.
  • Must have strong manual machining background.
  • Must have strong motivation to innovate and make difficult parts.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Title: Data Manager
Description: Edelbrock has an immediate opening for a Data Manager. The goal of this position will be to produce and distribute product data for all Edelbrock and Russell products, which consists of over 8000 SKU's. Applicants must understand the evolving needs of the automotive aftermarket and the importance of rich product data. This position will also provide cross training to perform other departmental duties as needed. In time, it will grow into have multiple personal as direct reports. This position is based out of the corporate headquarters in Torrance CA.
Education: A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field is preferred.
Job Duties:
  • Organize a protocol of how to developed and maintained data throughout the product life cycle
  • Mining for product data, specifications, marketing copy and digital assets
  • Work cross-functionally between various departments to compile data
  • Highlight and alert internal personnel to the existence of system problems and/or data discrepancies
  • Translate data into PIES format
  • Develop a standard for storing & distributing data
  • Communicate and work with outside vendors such as DCI and SDC
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association's (AAIA) PIES Standard
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must have strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Ability Prioritizes and plans workloads effectively, to set priorities and objectives
  • Experience in Data mining and protocol implementation
  • Knowledge of automotive aftermarket industry and familiarity with performance parts
  • Exceptional communication skills within a team environment

Description: Edelbrock has an immediate opening for a qualified Production Buyer/Planner. The position will plan, implement, and issue production schedules for assigned manufacturing work areas. This will involve resolving production schedule conflicts and expediting material supply shortages to fill orders. Position is full time (40hr week) and is located in Edelbrock's corporate location in Torrance, Ca.

Job Duties:
  • Create production schedules which balance the workload to maximize operation efficiency, output, and customer due dates.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions / planned orders to meet the master production schedule material requirements, and inventory targets.
  • Provide planning solutions for any material shortages, equipment downtime, or other constraints.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, and quality control as required ensuring the completion of plans.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees/departments.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
