CAM FEATURES: This camshaft works great when matched w/ Performer EPS intake manifold #2716, Performer carb #1407, and Performer E-Tec cylinder heads #60979; this combo produces 364 HP / 402 ft.-lbs. Matching Edelbrock #97423 Hydraulic Roller Lifters.
INSTALLATION NOTES: Use Edelbrock Performer-Link Timing Chain and Gear Set #7800 or 7802, Accu-Drive gear drive #7890, or Hex-A-Just Timing Set #7331 with camshaft #2208. #2209 should only be matched with Performer Link set #7801. Do not use late model timing sets designed for emission-controlled engines. These timing sets are machined in a retarded position and are not recommended for this camshaft installation. Edelbrock Timing Sets feature three keyways for specified timing selection. Use "0" position for most applications.
Footnote 1: Do not use dual valve springs. Use recommended valve springs with closed pressure of 120-130 lbs., open pressure of 320-340 lbs, and max lift of .500".
