| New for 2009, the Edelbrock 555 RPM XT is a powerful big cubic inch crate engine package that features the all new Edelbrock RPM Xtreme cylinder heads. The RPM Xtreme cylinder heads are CNC ported where it counts to achieve optimal air-flow for maximum horsepower and torque in high performance street and light duty racing applications. The key advantages of these cylinder heads are the increased air-flow for big power and the exhaust port exits are in the stock location, which allows the use of readily available off-the-shelf headers. Like the Edelbrock/MUSI 555, this engine is 100% brand new and constructed of the highest quality components. The Edelbrock 555 RPM fuel injected option is complete with Pro-Flo 2 electronic fuel injection and is assembled with EFI intake manifold, fuel injectors, fuel rails and throttle body, electronic engine control unit (ECU), handheld calibration module, Mallory® distributor, complete harness, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel hose, attaching hardware and software. This package is extremely tunable and offers superb drivability on the street. NOTE: This engine features exhaust port exits that are in the stock location and will accept off-theshelf headers. |
