EDELBROCK/LINGENFELTER LS1/LS2 RPM CNC
Edelbrock and Lingenfelter Performance have combined efforts to produce the finest LS1/LS2 cylinder heads available. Starting with a brand new A356 aluminum casting that is heat treated to T6 spec, these heads feature an extra thick deck and extra material in the spring pockets for a heavy-duty casting that can be used with high-lift cam and heavy spring combinations. Two port designs are offered, a 203cc and 230cc. The 203cc port has 65cc combustion chambers, 2.02 intake / 1.57 exhaust valves and flows 300 cfm at .600" lift this is a great cylinder head for 346ci LS1/LS6 packages. The 230cc port offers 67cc combustion chambers, large 2.100" intake / 1.60" exhaust valves that flows a stout 321cfm at .600" lift this is a great cylinder head for LS2 (4.00"-bore) and larger displacement LS1 combinations. Both are equipped with conical springs and titanium retainers for a lightweight and durable valve train combo. These heads will accept all factory accessories and intake manifolds on 1997 and later Gen 3 and Gen based engines, including 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L & 6.2L (#61899 recommended for use on 4.00" and larger bore sizes).

Technical Notes: Bare heads will have valve guides and seats installed, but will require final sizing and a valve
job to match the valves you will be using. Recommended spark plugs 14mm x 17.5mm (.708") reach tapered set
resistor type spark plugs. Heat range requirements will vary by application. For many applications, GM factory spark
plugs or equivalent spark plugs such as Champion RS14YC6, NGK TR55, or Denso IT16 spark plugs may be used. |
