| Big Victor III Pro-Port Raw cylinder heads are an exciting next generation in high output Edelbrock big-bock Chevrolet cylinder head performance. These heads are an all new design aimed at giving the Sportsman racer a symmetrical port design, similar to the Pro Stock DRCE3, for increased air flow and power. All Edelbrock Pro-Port Raw cylinder heads include extra material in the casting to allow professional cylinder head porters and engine builders to apply their own unique CNC programs. Big Victor III heads are available in 11° and 14° valve angles for improved air flow compared to existing 18° designs and also in 4.84" and 5.0" bore spacing configurations. They have more oil drain backs than traditional spread-port heads for improved oil flow and distribution. These heads also include an exclusive new water passage design for more efficient cooling when matched with the optional valley plate (sold separately). Also includes a traditional water passage design for a variety of applications. These cylinder heads have a redesigned in-line valvetrain geometry for improved stability, delivering consistency and reliability up to 10,000 rpm. Requires the use of a Jesel or T&D shaft-mounted rocker system. The casting is made from A-356 aluminum and is Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) processed for superior strength, durability and exceptional finish quality. Custom valves and pistons will be required. |
