Edelbrock EFI systems use injectors that are angled towards the cylinder head port. This provides superior
fuel dispersion for better throttle response off-idle and at part throttle than TBI systems. These kits

For GM 502 C.I.D. Replacement Engine
Calibrated for the GM 8.2L factory replacement engine, these 50-state
emissions legal* multi-point fuel injection systems deliver outstanding
performance in 1987-95 trucks originally equipped with Throttle Body
Injection. Now you can buy a 502-inch crate motor long block from GM #88890534, install it in a truck with
an Edelbrock EFI system, and enjoy modern performance and more without buying a new truck. In dyno
tests on a 502, we got 375 hp at 4500 rpm and 517 ft/lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm. This EFI system also
provides excellent fuel mileage potential and crisp throttle response. Performer Multi-Point EFI System
#3564 is for 1987-90 trucks and #3565 for 1991-95 model years. These Performer Multi-Point EFI Systems
greatly increase torque and horsepower throughout the rpm range, and re-use the stock air valve, factory
sensors and computer for a cost-effective conversion. All systems come with extruded aluminum fuel rails,
fuel injectors, wiring harness and more. These kits include everything shown in
Multi-Point Performer EFI except the fuel
pump because applications vary. You must purchase one of the fuel pump kits to
complete your installation. The included injectors are rated at 29 lbs/hr. Note: Calibrated for stock
GM #88890534 engine only. Not for GM passenger car engine applications. |

These kits are for owners of Performer Multi-Point EFI kits #3562 or #3563 who want to replace their 454
with the GM 502 crate motor (GM #88890534). It includes eight Pico injectors rated at 29 lbs/hr and a
registration card that entitles the customer to a new chip for their application. |
