EDELBROCK INTRODUCES NEW BLOCK-HUGGER & SHORTY HEADERS
FOR STREET ROD AND MUSCLE CAR APPLICATIONS
These new headers are designed for popular street rod applications. Edelbrock Block-Hugger headers have outstanding performance features such as mandrel-bent tubes with 3/8" laser-cut port and collector flanges. Block-Hugger headers are made of durable 16-gauge cold rolled steel tubing and are available in both Ceramic Coated finish or Ti-TECH© coated for superior durability and abrasion resistance to high heat environments. Block-Hugger headers include a graphite conical D-nut gasket for a better seal that won't burn out. The conical collector seal and flared extension pipe allow for easy and flexible exhaust system fabrication. These headers also feature a welded elbow for a cleaner appearing engine compartment. All necessary hardware and gaskets are included.

MUSCLE CAR HEADERS
FOR GM SMALL-BLOCK CRATE ENGINES IN 1964-72 A-BODY, 1967-81 F-BODY AND 1968-79 X-BODY CARS
These muscle car headers are specially designed for use on GM and Edelbrock crate engines with GM Vortec, GM Fast Burn and Edelbrock E-Tec cylinder heads with raised ports. They are made from 1-3/4" 409 stainless steel tubing and feature a 3/8" laser cut hot rolled steel port and collector flange. The collectors are designed with a steel sleeve and use donut style gaskets for improved sealing and durability. Muscle car headers are available for 1964-72 GM A-body, 1967-81 F-body and 1968-79 X-body vehicles. They can be matched with our exclusive header-back systems for a complete custom exhaust system from engine to tail pipe!

UNIVERSAL CONVERSION SHORTY HEADERS
FOR GM LS1 V8 TO STREET ROD
#65172 & #65173 are universal Shorty headers that can be used when (converting) installing an LS1 V8 into an early street rod or muscle car. The primary tubes are 1 5/8" dia. mild steel. The port flange is 3/8" thick laser cut hot rolled steel. These headers are available ceramic or Ti-TECH coated for long-term heat and corrosion protection. The headers utilize OE style collectors with stamped OE style flanges and D-nut gaskets for the ultimate leak-free seal. A pair of short extension tubes (Approx. 5" long) and flanges are included to simplify fabrication of the exhaust system. These headers are very compact and will fit a lot of different chassis. |
