Edelbrock Tech Support
Description: Edelbrock is seeking a qualified Technical Support agent to field technical related phone calls. This position entails accurately handling a high volume of technical related phone calls, in a very professional and humble manner, located in Edelbrock's fast paced busy call center, at our corporate location in Torrance, Ca.
Education: Open
Qualification: The ideal candidate should posses a basic, to well rounded understanding, and strong passion pertaining to the domestic hi-performance aftermarket parts industry. Knowledge of the following required for consideration: Basic to advanced PC skills (a must), Cylinder heads, Intake manifolds, Superchargers, and basic Valve Train knowledge. Scan tool knowledge, familiarity of SCT and or Diablo hand held programmers (A BIG PLUS!!)

Application Engineer
Description: Develop and maintain line of automotive based electronics systems including, but not limited to Electronic Fuel Injection and Data Acquisition hardware and software. Assist in testing and development of hardware and software systems. Maintain current product line, identify new applications and products. Hands-on use and development of existing and future hardware and software systems. Troubleshooting hardware and software designs. Act as project Engineer/Manager for new products.
Education: Open
Qualification: In-depth knowledge of computer/PC software and hardware. Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and Linux. Familiarity with electronic hardware/software development and testing. Understanding of automotive electrical systems and their functions.

Engine Dyno Test Technician
Description: The engine dyno test technician will work in the engine dynamometer lab, under the supervision of the dyno manger. This individual will be responsible for installing engines onto the dynamometer, running dyno tests & changing engine parts on the test engines, including cylinder head swaps, camshaft swaps, etc. Additional responsibilities may include: engine assembly, vehicle installs, etc.
Education: Open
Qualification: The ideal candidate will have good mechanical skills, basic computer skills, experience working with engines, and a willingness to work closely with others. Experience with water break engine dynamometers a plus. Electronic fuel injection and data acquisition experience a plus. At least 3 years of experience working as a technician in the automotive industry.

Sr. Automotive Calibration Engineer
Description: Edelbrock is seeking a qualified engineer, with experience in powertrain calibration. This position involves the utilization of calibration tools to tune engine and transmission controllers for forced induction, spark ignition applications, both for performance and emissions. In support of these activities, the operation of engine and chassis dynamometers will also be required. Additional, secondary, responsibilities include the design and documentation of small wire harnesses, as well as generating and coordinating CARB E.O. applications.

Qualification: The ideal candidate will be experienced in the utilization of O.E.M. and Aftermarket calibration tools, have a deep understanding of the workings of internal combustion engines, be familiar with the operation of engine and chassis dynamometers, be experienced in generating engineering drawings for wire harnesses, and have a clean driving record. In addition, experience in emissions testing and CARB applications are a plus. B.S. preferred.
