Smooth Cruising For Muscle Cars With Edelbrock Performer IAS Shocks

TORRANCE, Calif. (Aug. 7, 2002) – Edelbrock Performer IAS Mono-Tube shocks are now available for a multitude of muscle cars, including Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros/Firebirds, Cougars, Novas and many more.

Edelbrock IAS shocks feature the patented Ricor Inertia Active Valve System that delivers great handling response and a smooth ride over rough roads. This exclusive design switches instantly between a firm and a soft circuit for superior handling and a comfortable ride – the best of both worlds.

IAS shocks -- manufactured by Edelbrock in the USA -- are tuned for each application and tested on a shock dyno. They feature polyurethane bushings; a NitroSteel® Piston Rod, which won’t chip or flake like chrome rods; plus a Viton seal and low-friction piston rod bearing for long life and no leaks. The mono tube design provides excellent heat dissipation resulting in consistent performance under all conditions.
