Edelbrock Employees Raise Over $30,000 For WTC Relief Efforts Employees at the Edelbrock Corporation, a Torrance, California automotive and motorcycle performance parts manufacturer, were looking for a way to help the victims of the WTC and came up with a great plan. Shirts were produced with the American flag that say "Proud To Be An American" on the front and "United We Stand" on the back. The 600+ employees bought over 650 shirts, and 100% of the proceeds went to the Twin Towers Fund. Additionally, the company matched donations from the employees to the WTC charity of their choice. The money will be sent to the Twin Towers Fund, the September 11th Fund of United Way, American Red Cross and the New York 911 Relief Fund. Vic Edelbrock commented, "I am very proud of our employees, their efforts and their generosity. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and heroes of the Sept. 11th tragedy." Download photo.
