Edelbrock’s All-New Performer Series Motorcycle Carburetors: Smooth, Fast & Powerful!

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 15, 2003) – Edelbrock unveiled its all-new Performer Series motorcycle carburetor today, delivering more power, improved throttle response and a lifetime of smooth throttle operation. The introduction was made in Edelbrock’s booth at the PowerSports Dealer Expo at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome.

The new Performer Series Motorcycle carburetors feature sealed 440 stainless steel throttle shaft bearings, which allow for a lifetime of smooth throttle operation, and a hard anodized flat slide for unsurpassed wear resistance and exceptionally smooth rideability.

An adjustable idle air bleed system makes it possible to dial-in idle fuel mixture independently from other circuits, and a fuel overflow tube eliminates the possibility of engine flooding should the float bowl overflow. The Performer Series’ flat needle design creates a low-pressure area for superior fuel atomization and is externally adjustable. The adjustable accelerator pump offers instant throttle response and easy starting capability.

Every Edelbrock motorcycle carb is wet-flow tested before packaging for quality assurance, and comes in a “quick kit” or a complete kit that features an Edelbrock air cleaner with K&N filter.

The Performer Series carbs are available chromed or ball-burnished for 1999 & later Twin Cam, 1984-99 Big Twin Evo, 1957-85 Iron and 1986 & later Evo Sportster, 1995-98 Buell, and 1970-84 Shovelhead.
