RUSSELL, NASCAR FORGE NEW SPONSOR CONTINGENCY DEAL Award Program is for the NASCAR Grand National Division TORRANCE, Calif. (June 30, 2003) – Building for the future, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and the Russell Corporation have reached a three-year contingency contract for the NASCAR Grand National Division, it was announced today. The Grand National Division includes the Busch North Series and the Winston West Series and is considered the top training ground for future NASCAR stars. The new deal begins in 2004 and runs through the 2006 season. Russell is known for supplying advanced fluid systems for high-performance street, marine and racing applications for more than a quarter-century.
