TORRANCE, Calif. (May 21, 2004) - Edelbrock demands the best for its customers, so it's no wonder the performance icon turned to Essex Industries to produce its state-of-the-art electric fuel pressure regulators. Essex is a renowned name in the fuel system components industry and is the same company that makes parts for F/A 15 Eagle fighter jets and other high-tech planes.

Now available are three new Edelbrock/Essex fuel pressure regulators: #1727, #1728 and #1729. These regulators are machined from aircraft-quality aluminum and have fluorosilicone diaphragm material for extended life and high-temperature protection. Compatible with all grades of gasoline and methanol and have 1/8" NPT gauge ports. Mounting bracket and hardware included.

#1727- has ½" NPT inlet/outlets and is adjustable for 5 to 10 psi while providing consistent pressure regulation for carbureted applications. Good for 160 GPH.
#1728- is adjustable from 35 to 90 psi for 180 GPH. Has dual -6 AN inlets, single -6 outlet and external bypass for EFI applications
#1729- offers the same flow performance (180 GPH) as #1728, but with a longer body and dual -10 AN inlets, single -10 outlet and external bypass for EFI applications.
