TORRANCE, Calif. (Aug. 3, 2004) - The Edelbrock road show has a new addition. It's 80 feet long, brightly colored, has two stories, an elevator, interactive displays and is filled to the brim with Edelbrock and Russell product. Yes, the new Edelbrock display trailer is on the road to promote its products and brand, with a full slate of races and other events to attend.

The new rig holds 60 percent more Edelbrock and Russell products than any of the company's other trailers, according to Jason Snyder, Edelbrock national sales manager. "It's really state-of-the-art," Snyder said. "Products are placed on roll-outs based on engine family and performance level and are the most detailed displays Edelbrock has ever done. Even the catalog and literature holders have a new, customer-friendly design. When the new trailer is at an event, we can display all of this to consumers, which will help the local retailers. That's really the goal behind the new rig - to promote our products and support retailers."

Snyder said one of the highlights of the trailer is the interactive nitrous displays, including the one for nitrous nozzles. "It shows how the nitrous nozzles work, which will be fun and educational for consumers."

Other interactive displays show camshafts and roller lifters rotating together, simulating the movement of an engine, plus there's a carburetor cut-away that will help consumers better understand the function and design of Edelbrock carbs.

Edelbrock's new rig is part of a fleet of five trailers (including one for motorcycles) that travel the county throughout the year, stopping at about 200-plus events such as races (drag, circle track, vintage), trade shows, street rod events, motorcycle shows, etc.
