With intake and exhaust flange and port locations matched to stock equipment, Edelbrock's Performer RPM Cylinder Heads (#61779) are an ideal selection for 1992 and later 5.2 and 5.9L Chrysler Magnum V8s used in high-performance street and engine swap applications. Made of lightweight A356 aluminum heat-treated to T-6 specifications for maximum strength and durability, these heads feature 176cc intake ports and 75cc exhaust ports with efficient high-swirl dual-quench 58cc combustion chambers. Flow is improved over the stock iron Magnum heads, due to their refined, high velocity ports and 2.02-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust stainless steel valves with 11/32 inch stems. The result is increased torque and horsepower from 1,500 to 6,500 RPM. Intake and exhaust ports and bowls are CNC port-matched and blended to increase flow and power. PN 61779 Performer RPM cylinder heads come complete with valves, springs, retainers, stem seals, locks, 3/8" adjustable rocker studs and pushrod guide plates. These heads do not require any special rocker stud adapters and will work with most readily available aftermarket 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms and hardened 5/16" pushrods. (Note: #61779 is not legal for use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles.) For bigger power gains, Edelbrock recommends matching these cylinder heads with their new RPM Air-Gap manifold (#7577).
