TORRANCE, Calif. - (Dec. 14, 2004) - Camaro and Firebird drivers looking for better suspension response will have a new choice in trailing arms as Edelbrock introduces part #5274. According to Jack Mayberry, Edelbrock vice president of R&D, the new trailing arms use a spherical ball assembly to allow the suspension to work more effectively. "This new arm design is lighter in weight and the ball assembly eliminates the bushing bind that is common with polyurethane bushings during hard cornering," Mayberry said. The new arm is constructed of 1 1/4" diameter by .120" wall steel tubing and feature polyurethane bushings on the chassis end. The arms are powder-coated gloss black for a long-lasting finish.
