One-year Protection Covers Needed Repair or Replacement FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORRANCE, Calif. (Apr. 15, 2004) – Edelbrock performance parts take good care of your engine. And Edelbrock takes good care of its customers, with a warranty program for its Thunder Series AVS™ carburetors that’s among the best warranties in the business. “Our customers come to Edelbrock to get the best performance, and this is a warranty that will perform for them,” says Edelbrock President and CEO Vic Edelbrock Jr. “We’ll match our products with anyone in the industry for performance and quality, and this warranty stands behind our high-quality AVS carburetors.” Edelbrock’s warranty for Thunder Series AVS™ carburetors is valid for one year from the original purchase date, as long as the carb was installed properly and not used for race/competition purposes. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the product. Under this warranty, the original purchaser of the product should return it to the place of purchase or ship it prepaid to Edelbrock Corporate headquarters, where it will be repaired or replaced before being returned to the consumer. Edelbrock’s Thunder Series AVS Carbs, developed by Edelbrock engineers, feature all of the same traits that make the Edelbrock Performer Series carburetors so dependable. Features like easily changeable metering rods and step-up springs, and no gaskets below the fuel line to prevent harmful leakage are part of every Thunder Series AVS™ carburetor. The Thunder Series AVS‰ (AVS stands for adjustable valve secondary) carburetors are available for either manual choke or electric choke vehicles, and come in 650 cfm (#1805 manual choke/#1806 electric choke), 800 cfm (#1812 manual choke/#1813 electric choke), and 650 cfm for off-road applications (#1825 manual choke/#1826 electric choke). The Thunder Series AVS‰ Carburetors bolt on to most Chevrolets, and adapters are available for Ford, Chrysler and AMC vehicles. For 4x4 owners, Thunder Series AVS off-road carbs come with spring-loaded needles and seats for better performance in rough, uneven terrain. Distinctive black accented hardware and a lightweight ball-burnished aluminum, CNC-profiled front face give the Thunder Series AVS‰ Carburetor a good look, too. The new line also comes with an option for dual fuel inlets, providing total flexibility in fuel system plumbing. Edelbrock has developed a dual feed fuel line (#8128, #8132 or #8133) specifically for the new Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS‰ carburetor.
