LAS VEGAS (Nov. 1, 2004) - Piece by piece, Edelbrock products deliver out-of-the box performance that's second to none. Now, Edelbrock has taken many of its parts and put them together in a limited-edition, Vic Edelbrock Signature Series 383 cubic-inch stroker crate motor with performance and a custom look you can't get anywhere else. The new motor, which goes a step beyond Edelbrock's trademark "Power Package," is on display at this week's SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Edelbrock booth #22243). Built on brand new GM short-blocks, this special-edition Performer RPM Signature Series crate engine (#46213) includes high-quality Edelbrock performance parts as well as quality pieces from MSD, Milodon, ARP and more. The heart of this power plant is a pair of Edelbrock E-Tec 170 cylinder heads (#60979) with valve motion supplied by Edelbrock's hydraulic roller cam. Top it all off with an RPM Air-Gap manifold #7516 and 800 cfm Thunder Series AVS carb (#1813), and you've got power to spare. Power like this: 460 horsepower & 460 ft/lbs of torque-that kind of power. To make it look as good as it runs, the custom aluminum valve covers and air cleaner feature a black anodized finish with laser-etched insignia and Vic Edelbrock's signature. Limited to 250 engines, each one is serialized and comes with a certificate of authenticity. All Edelbrock crate motors are delivered in a unique, reusable plastic crate, fully assembled and ready to install, and come with a 24 month, unlimited-mile insured warranty.
