LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Nov. 1, 2004) - GM A &G body owners will get stronger suspension parts when they switch to Edelbrock's new #5267, #5268 or #5269 upper trailing arms, which are debuting in the Edelbrock booth (#22243) at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The new arm design is much stronger than the typical stock stamped-steel trailing arms installed at the factory. According to Jack Mayberry, Edelbrock vice president of R&D, the new trailing arms are made specifically for A &G body cars from 1978-88 (#5267), 1968-72 (#5268) and 1964-67 (#5269) and are made of 1 1/4" x .120" wall steel tube. "Unlike stock parts, our trailing arms have polyurethane bushings on the chassis end which provide increased handling and less body roll," Mayberry said. Grade 8 mounting hardware is included and as with most Edelbrock suspension components, the new upper trailing arms are powder-coated in gloss black for a great look and feature an Edelbrock logo.
