LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Nov. 1, 2004) - Working closely with championship auto racer and famed performance specialist Pat Musi, Edelbrock has come up with a new Victor 24° CNC-ported head that will debut in the Edelbrock booth (#22243) at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Musi, a 5-time Pro Street world champion, has described Edelbrock Victor 24° heads as "the best out-of-the-box heads on the market!" Now, Musi has gone one step further with his engine-building expertise as Edelbrock offers the new, ready-to-race competition head (#61409 and #61419) for big-block Chevys. "Edelbrock already makes top-notch hardcore racing products, and I'm just helping make 'em even better," Musi said. In the case of the new Victor 24° head, it's safe to say, "mission accomplished!" Musi helped improve the flow characteristics on the Victor 24° head. Then the fully ported design was digitized and is now available completely assembled. Both #61409 and #61419 feature the same superior elements of the regular Edelbrock Victor 24° head, including 2.30" intake and 1.90" exhaust valves, Manley springs, titanium retainers and locks. It is the only ready-to-use head on the market capable of generating 950-plus horsepower from a conventional port location big-block head. #61409 is assembled complete, while #61409 is bare.
