LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Nov. 1, 2004) - Edelbrock has partnered with Mototron, a subsidiary of Brunswick, to produce the most advanced high-performance and competition EFI systems available. A demonstration of the new product line will be on display in the Edelbrock booth (#22243) at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. "EFI Made Simple," is the slogan for the new Edelbrock Pro-Tuner EFI Systems, which are powered by Mototron Electronic Control Units (ECU). This partnership delivers top-of-the-line electronics with Edelbrock proven performance. Pro-Tuner EFI Systems are offered in two levels for Chevys, Fords or Pontiacs: Victor Systems and Super Victor Systems. Both versions include the Mototron ECU with Power PC, 32-bit microcontroller and Pro-Tuner software, as well as an MSD distributor, injectors, all sensors and wiring harness. They can be easily matched with Edelbrock Victor or Super Victor EFI intake manifolds, fuel rails, throttle body and fuel pump regulator to make a complete system. Victor Systems include a 48-pin Mototron ECU for semi-sequential injection, while Super Victor Systems provide an 80-pin Mototron ECU with advanced tuning features like fully sequential injector control. "It's the smartest ECU on the market," said Vic Edelbrock, president and CEO of Edelbrock Corporation. "It makes the entire EFI system state of the art." The proprietary Mototron ECU is extremely durable. It's completely sealed making it waterproof and ideal for not only competition vehicles but for marine as well. They are pre-calibrated for the sensors, injectors and distributor before shipping to get you started without headaches. Once up and running, Edelbrock's Pro-Tuner EFI software offers easy-to-use, yet sophisticated tuning control with user-friendly pull down menus and screens.
