LAS VEGAS (Nov. 1, 2004) - The hot new Pontiac GTO's performance gets even better with Russell's new pre-assembled, direct bolt-on, 50-state street-legal stainless steel brake lines and fuel lines. The new lines are on display this week at the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Russell booth #22333). GTO Brake Lines Russell's GTO brake lines (#692310) feature PowerFlex stainless steel braided hose, much more responsive and durable than factory rubber lines, delivering sure-footed brake performance through consistent, reliable pressure in everyday driving or competitive use. Russell's braided stainless steel Teflon brake lines prevent hose expansion, which can lead to increased brake pedal travel and reduced performance. Expansion causes reduced brake pressure and is common in factory rubber lines as a result of temperature, age and wear. Russell stainless steel lines have better resistance to changes in brake pressure and response caused by heat and wear. These stainless steel brake lines come with zinc-plated fittings, factory-assembled for an easy installation. The end fittings on these lines match factory geometry, insuring the OEM routing is duplicated for an easy installation. Every Russell brake line kit comes with all necessary mounting brackets and hardware. Russell brake lines meet the strict guidelines of the U.S. Department of Transportation MVSS-106 requirements. GTO Fuel Lines Russell's GTO fuel line kits (#651105) come complete and ready to run. Built with Russell stainless steel braided hose and anodized aluminum hose ends, these lines upgrade the OEM fuel line which connects from the high-pressure feed line from the factory fuel hard tube to the fuel rail, delivering maximum reliability and a professional-looking installation. The stainless steel outer braid resists abrasion and corrosion, offering maximum protection and reliability. The CPE synthetic rubber liner with a nylon inner braid is compatible with all hydrocarbon and alcohol-based fuels, and helps give ProFlex hoses a temperature range of -40 degrees Fahrenheit to +350 degrees. All Russell hose ends, like those included in these kits, are precision machined to ensure precise thread engagement and a tight seal.
