TORRANCE, Calif. (Aug. 16, 2005) -Edelbrock's high-performing family of turbo systems for Honda Civics has a new member, with the introduction of the Victor X Open Track Turbo Kit for competition 1996-2000 Honda Civics.

Edelbrock's Victor X Open Track turbo system (#1509) is engineered specifically for 1996-00 Honda Civics equipped with the B16A2 DOHC VTEC engine and used in competition.

The Garrett GT28RS ball-bearing turbocharger with integral wastegate comes pre-assembled with an Edelbrock-designed high-temperature Ni-resist cast exhaust manifold. The pre-assembled cast iron exhaust elbow has inlet oil and water lines connected for the simplest possible installation.

The Victor X Open Track Turbo Kit comes with all components needed for installation. The system includes a high-performance Victor X intake manifold with four auxiliary fuel injectors and a fuel rail.

It also has an oversized Spearco intercooler and Tial blow-off valve. The Edelbrock exhaust manifold and elbow are designed for maximum flow at high-velocity for quicker turbo spool-up. Edelbrock has included pre-assembled Russell oil, water and fuel lines to round out this high-quality kit. It also features an O-ring sealed compressor, inlet/outlet pipe flanges, ceramic-coated turbo piping and high-flow air filter, plus all necessary gaskets, adapters, and detailed installation instructions.

Edelbrock's Victor X Open Track Turbo kit will have a street price of around $3,882.95. Kits are available at Edelbrock retailers nationwide.

The Victor X Open Track Turbo Kit (#1509) is not emissions legal, and is intended for closed course use only.
