TORRANCE, CA (Dec. 7, 2005) - When it comes to solid, reliable performance, nothing beats Edelbrock's RPM Air-Gap® intake and Thunder Series AVS® carburetors. Edelbrock's new RPM Air-Gap Dual- Quad intake and carburetor kit is packaged to provide everything needed to convert from a single carburetor intake to a dual-quad intake for small-block Chevy's.

The new RPM Air-Gap Dual-Quad intake features a unique Air-Gap design that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser more oxygen-rich intake charge. A larger volume plenum and longer runner design produces an additional 20+ hp over existing designs. The kit is topped off with a pair of new Thunder Series AVS 500 cfm carburetors (one manual choke, one electric choke) especially calibrated for dual-quad intakes. This kit also includes Edelbrock's high-tech progressive throttle linkage, fuel line and intake gaskets.

The kit is available in a choice of as-cast or in Edelbrock's exclusive EnduraShine® finish. EnduraShine provides the brilliance of a chrome piece, without the maintenance or the high price tag, along with long-term durability. This package is the benchmark of performance and beauty. Simply put, this kit gives our customers more of what they like: solid, reliable performance, and more of it.
