TORRANCE, Calif. (Aug. 9, 2005) - Harley enthusiasts take note: Edelbrock has two new dual-carb kits available for the S&S 124 and TP 124.

The complete kits (#8649 for S&S 124, #8646 for TP 124) are packaged with an intake manifold featuring a true split runner design, 40mm chrome dual-carbs and chrome billet air cleaner. Throttle cables are sold separately.

All components were tested both on the dyno and on hundreds of road miles from So-Cal to Sturgis. The testing ensured Edelbrock had a winning package that provides great power and maintains a good ride.

Edelbrock's FXR-equipped with a 124" TP motor made 128 HP and 136 ft./lbs. of torque at the rear wheel using dual carb kit #8646. Edelbrock packaged these kits to ensure the customer receives the correct manifold and carburetors that can supply the required air and fuel for these massive engines.

The new dual-carbs feature an accelerator pump for easier cold starts and crisp throttle response along with sealed 440 stainless steel throttle shaft bearings, which allow for a lifetime of smooth throttle operation, and hard anodized flat slides for unsurpassed wear resistance and exceptionally smooth rideability.

The dual-carbs kits can be applied to 1999 & later Twin Cam and 1984 & later Evo Big Twins (except Ultras). Dual-carbs, manifolds, air cleaners and throttle cables are also available separately for other motor combinations.
