TORRANCE, CA (May 15, 2006) - Whether you prefer a carburetor or high-tech EFI, Edelbrock's Victor Jr. manifold for LS1 is now available for street rod or competition applications. Capable of supporting 600+ hp, the Victor Jr. LS1 offers an optimal operating range of 3500-7500 rpm.

Edelbrock's Victor Jr. LS1 carbureted kit, #2908, accepts a square bore carburetor and comes with an electronic timing module that picks up MAP, crank position, and cam position in order to drive the stock Coil-on-Plug ignition system. This module also offers a choice of several built-in timing curves, each tailored for engine displacement, cam profiles, and fuel grades. A throttle bracket designed to work with 700R-4, 200R-4 and Turbo 350 transmissions is also included. Most applications will require hood modification. Carbureted Manifold only is also available, #29087.

For competition EFI the #29085 is the manifold of choice. This manifold is designed for use with a 4150-style competition 4-bbl throttle body like the Edelbrock #3878, 1000cfm throttle body. An optional aluminum fuel rail kit and bracket set is available under #3638 or you can opt for an all-inclusive intake manifold and fuel rail package under catalog #29086. Either way, you won?t be disappointed! Edelbrock intake manifolds are made in the USA and are an exclusive NASCAR performance product.
