FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TORRANCE, CA (May 17, 2006) - A throttle body swap is one of the simplest and most cost effective ways to improve breathing and boost performance. Edelbrock offers four new high quality throttle bodies for the versatile 4.6L modular engine.

Part #3871 is designed for 1996-2003 4.6L equipped Mustangs and works well with bolt-ons like cat-back exhaust, improved ignition and aftermarket air intake system. Part #3873 is designed for various 1991-95 passenger cars equipped with the 2V 4.6L engine with minor modifications. These vehicles include the Town Car, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Mark VII, Thunderbird and Cougar. Both throttle bodies measure 70mm and are 50-state legal. At 75mm, part #3874 fits 1997-2003 4.6L and 5.4L equipped trucks, including the Expedition, F150, F250, Navigator, Mountaineer, Blackwood and Excursion. Designed for the 1996-2003 4.6L Mustang, part #3872 measures 75mm and is best suited for engines equipped with more aggressive upgrades and competition use only. All four throttle bodies are a direct bolt on and include a new pre-set throttle position sensor. Edelbrock throttle bodies are cast, machined and assembled in the USA.
