FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TORRANCE, CA (June 6, 2006) - Edelbrock's Thunder Series AVS® and Performer Series® Carburetors are now available with bright EnduraShine&trade finish. This is a first for the industry-leading street carburetor. You get proven performance and unsurpassed reliability with bright new looks that last and complement EnduraShine manifolds and accessories. This revolutionary new finish is available on Edelbrock carbs with manual or electric chokes in select sizes including the 600 cfm Performer Series and Thunder Series AVS in 500 cfm, 650 cfm, and 800 cfm.

What is EnduraShine? EnduraShine is a coating that provides the brilliance of a chrome or polished piece, without the maintenance or the high price tag normally associated with polished or chrome. The secret to the success of EnduraShine is its three-step coating process. First a base coat is applied for adhesion and smoothing properties. A second coat of metal is then applied in a high-tech vacuum chamber for a complete and consistent coat that is actually thinner than a human hair. The third and final coating includes a clear powder coat for the ultimate protection and durability. This all adds up to great looks, exceptional value and long-term durability.

Features Include:
* Brilliant Shine- won't oxidize, fade or discolor like chrome or polished finish for a fraction of the cost of chroming or polishing and is environmentally friendly
* Economical Alternative- unique three step coating process offers a show-quality
* Durable Finish- easily cleans with soap and water and looks great with a coat of your favorite car wax.
