TORRANCE, CA (August 22, 2006) - A familiar face in the automotive aftermarket industry has recently joined the Edelbrock Sales Team. Todd Carroll, a new Sales Manager at Edelbrock, comes with more than twelve years experience from PJ1/VHT and the last four years from Ringers Gloves. Additionally, he served as sales manager at Spy Optics, a division of No Fear, working within their Motorsports program. Understanding the distribution system and the important role of Sales Representatives, Todd has the knowledge that Edelbrock is looking for in a Sales Manager.

According to Vic Edelbrock, President and CEO, "Todd is a great addition to the team. He will be hands-on with our extensive distribution network." In his own words, Carroll said, "Throughout my career both in the automotive and motorcycle aftermarket industries I have always had great respect for the job that Vic and his team have done to build the company into what it is today. For me to be a part of the Edelbrock family and a member of their team is not only a great accomplishment, it is an honor."

As a grandson of Ted Halibrand, of Halibrand Engineering, Todd was exposed to the world of the automotive aftermarket at an early age, attending races before he could walk. Inspired by his grandfather, he began racing quarter midgets as a youngster and won his first Grand National Championship in 1979. After a few years of midget racing, Todd switched to motocross and then became a mechanic for several amateur riders. In 1990, he wrenched for Ty Davis, who became the Supercross 125 Division Champ that year. Currently, Todd races his own car in the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series. Another enthusiast with racing experience joins the Edelbrock Team! center section.
