TORRANCE, CA (October 31, 2006) - Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads have an outstanding reputation for quality and performance, and this latest version adds the well-known benefits of precision CNC porting for consistent runner shape, volume and performance.

Ideal for hot street or entrylevel racing applications, these heads provide outstanding performance and value compared to high-dollar porting jobs. They feature a dual bolt pattern (Vortec and classic Chevy 6-bolt), but retain the stock Vortec intake flange angle for proper sealing.

The ports and combustion chambers are fully CNC-machined and come with 195cc intake ports, 70cc exhaust ports and 65cc combustion chambers. Like all Edelbrock heads, they are cast at the Edelbrock Foundry from 356-T6 aluminum and incorporate Heli-Coil™ inserts in the rocker stud and exhaust bolt holes for strength and durability. They are available bare or complete and assembled with stainless steel 2.02"/1.60" valves, high quality valve springs, retainers, keepers, and seals for an easy installation.

These heads are the perfect match for the new Edelbrock Super Victor manifold #2814 (direct fit), high-port conventional manifolds like the Edelbrock Super Victor #2926 (port matching required) or any Vortec-style intake manifold.
