RPM AIR-GAP™ DUAL-QUAD MANIFOLD AND CARB KITS AVAILABLE WITH AN AS-CAST OR ENDURASHINE™ FINISH
TORRANCE, CA (January 16, 2007) - Edelbrock is happy to announce that their premium line of street performance carburetors, the Thunder Series AVS, is now available with the bright EnduraShine™ finish. EnduraShine™ is a coating that provides the brilliance of a chrome or polished piece, without the maintenance or the high price tag normally associated with polished or chrome. You get proven performance and unsurpassed reliability with bright new looks that last and complement Edelbrock's EnduraShine™ manifolds and accessories.
Edelbrock's Thunder Series AVS Carbs, developed by Edelbrock engineers, feature all of the same traits that make the Edelbrock Performer Series carburetors so dependable. Features like easily changeable metering rods and step-up springs, with no gaskets below the fuel level for leak-free operation, are part of every Thunder Series AVS carburetor. The Thunder Series' primary and secondary booster clusters offer the most accurate and up-to-date calibration available for today's fuels and octane levels, and the unique Qwik-Tune Secondary Air Valve allows for limitless calibration of the secondary circuit with simple hand tools. It can be easily adjusted in a matter of seconds to suit your application with no extra parts. The Thunder Series AVS (Adjustable Valve Secondary) carburetors are available with either manual or electric choke, and come in 500 cfm, 650 cfm, and 800 cfm sizes.
Thunder Series AVS Carburetors bolt on to standard square-bore intake manifolds and accept most GM throttle connections, with throttle linkage adapters available for Ford and Chrysler vehicles. For 4x4 owners, Thunder Series AVS 650 cfm off-road carbs come with spring-loaded needles and seats for better performance in rough, uneven terrain. Distinctive black accented hardware and a lightweight ball-burnished aluminum finish give the Thunder Series AVS Carburetor a great look, too.
For unmatched street performance, combine them with Edelbrock Performer, Performer Air-Gap, Performer EPS, Performer RPM, RPM Air-Gap or Torker II manifold and camshaft combinations, as well as most stock and other aftermarket manifolds of similar design.
