EDELBROCK ADDS A THIRD SUPERFLOW ENGINE DYNAMOMETER
TORRANCE, CA (January 16, 2007) At Edelbrock, the term "Proven Performance" is more than just a slogan. It's a philosophy that was established by Vic Edelbrock Sr. when he became the first performance equipment manufacturer to use an engine dynamometer back in the 1948. Today, Vic Edelbrock Jr. continues that tradition by constantly updating Edelbrock's engine testing equipment to ensure that their products produce performance you can count on. The third and latest addition to Edelbrock's legendary dyno room is a new SuperFlow SF-902 engine dyno complete with WinDyn test and data acquistion software.
The SuperFlow SF-902 is equipped with a super-fast electronics package and unique engine cart/engine stand for fast set-up and quicker test sessions. This complete system provides state-of-the-art control and data acquisition capabilities for test results that are accurate and repeatable. WinDyn software provides quick and easy test design and configuration, allowing Edelbrock's engineers to run a variety of programs including drive cycle, engine break-in, and steady-state or acceleration load tests. With this system, Edelbrock engineers can set-up a test to break-in an engine, simulate a specific race course, and measure the power output of engines up to 2,500 horsepower at engine speeds in excess of 10,000 rpm. The end result will be even better performing products from this legendary performance parts manufacturer.
