TORRANCE, CA - Edelbrock has entered the big-block crate engine market with the unveiling of their new 555 cubic-inch crate engine. Developed in conjunction with 8-time World Champion Drag Racer, Pat Musi, this 555 cid BBC is designed to provide pavement shredding horsepower in a street-friendly package.

Performance and durability are assured through the combination of industry leading product including a Dart Big-M block, SCAT crank, JE Pistons and Eagle H-Beam Rods, Edelbrock Victor 24° Heads, Roller Camshaft, Victor 454-R Intake and 800cfm Thunder Series carburetor. Crane Gold rockers, MSD Distributor and Moroso oil pan round out the quality details. The finished package produces 650 HP and 650 Ft./Lbs. of Torque on pump gas.
