Small-Block Ford with 9.1:1 compression. The kit delivers affordable street performance and great drivability from idle to 5,500 rpm. This kit includes a Performer EPS intake manifold, E-Street cylinder heads, Performer hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, pushrods, timing chain, complete bolt kit and an Edelbrock gasket set. Installation Notes
Do not exceed 5,500 RPM's.; E-Street heads are for hydraulic flat tappet camshafts ONLY.; For 289-302 S/B Ford, 1981 & earlier; Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.; PT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.; DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread.
