The Edelbrock/Musi 555 Part # 49550 Big-Block Chevy crate engine is a powerful big cubic inch package that features the all new Edelbrock E-CNC cylinder heads for the ultimate in performance. This engine delivers an incredible 676 horsepower and 649 ft-lbs. of torque on 91 octane pumps gas. The Edelbrock E-CNC cylinder heads are fully CNC ported to achieve optimal air-flow for maximum horsepower and torque in high performance street and light duty racing applications. This crate engine features exhaust port exits in the stock location, which allows for the use of off-the-shelf headers. Each engine is assembled by 8-time Pro Street World Champ Pat Musi. Installation Notes
  • Ships with no oil inside of engine
  • Your engine is supplied with 8 qtrs. of Edelbrock Break-In Oil in the crate. Before starting engine, you will need to prime the oil system. Do not turn engine over with starter motor for priming.
  • This engine is not supplied with the crankshaft bolt due to many different applications. The customer must purchase and install the crankshaft bolt that matches the given application.
