Edelbrock part #26013 Performer Air-Gap intake manifold Designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. small-block Chevys. The Performer Air-Gap intake manifold features the air-gap design for the ultimate street performance in the idle to 5500 rpm range. This design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power. High-velocity runners deliver excellent throttle response throughout the power band. The great looks of the Performer Air-Gap along with the solid idle to 5500 rpm performance makes this an ideal choice for street rods and street machines. No provision for exhaust heated chokes or exhaust crossover. Fits spread-bore or square-bore carburetors. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood. This manifold offers a durable black power coated finish for long lasting protection and a distinctive look.

Use bracket #8031 or #8036 for 1972-78.; Port exit dimensions: 1.14" x 1.88"; Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7201.; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.; NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.; DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread.; Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
