Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder Camshaft #3714 is designed for 4.3L 90 Degree V6 Chevy engines and produce optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range. Rollin' Thunder camshafts match with Performer manifolds for vehicles operating from off-idle to 5500 rpm. They are smooth idling cams for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs and 4x4s. You can expect a major improvement in throttle response and torque. In the manifold section you'll find torque graphs showing the power gains from Performer manifolds and Performer-Plus cams. All camshafts include flat tappet lifters (except for cams designed for use with stock roller lifters), assembly lube and instructions. For use with OEM hydraulic roller lifters (use original lifters). Not for 1992-Later 4.3L balanced shaft engines. Compression ratio of at least 9.5:1; Adjustable valvetrain required; For street high-performance and racing applications only; Lower than stock rear gearing; High performance torque converter (in automatic transmission equipped vehicles) are necessary.; Please be advised that an improper installation may result in LOW MILEAGE, POOR PERFORMANCE, and COSTLY REINSTALLATION AND EVEN ENGINE DAMAGE.
