Edelbrock part #29785 Victor E EFI intake manifold for small-block Chevy has a larger and deeper plenum than the #2975. It provides maximum power in the higher rpm range for engines with standard port location iron and aluminum cylinder heads. Runners have a tapered cross-section, and plenty of material at the manifold port exit allows port matching to the small port heads used in NHRA Super Stock classes. 1" or 2" spacers can be used for performance tuning. The large plenum and runner volume of this intake manifold is also ideal for alcohol-fueled applications. The Edelbrock Victor E EFI is a single-plane, high-rise intake designed for maximum race-winning power at higher engine speeds.

Installation Notes
Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7201 or Fel-Pro #1205, #1206; Match with Edelbrock's fuel rail kit #3630; No provisions for exhaust heated chokes or EGR. Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. Optimum cylinder head port opening size should be as close as possible to the size of the gasket being used. Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal, Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used.
