Edelbrock part #2908 Victor Jr. LS1 intake manifold is a high-rise single plane intake capable of supporting up to 600 hp. The Victor Jr. LS1 accepts a square bore carburetor and includes an electronic timing module that picks up MAP, crank position, and cam position in order to drive the stock LS1 Coil-on-Plug ignition system. The module offers a choice of 6 built-in timing curves, each tailored for engine displacement, cam profiles, and fuel grades. Includes a throttle bracket designed to work with 700R-4, 200R-4 and Turbo 350 transmissions. Most applications will require hood modification.

  • Recommended intake gasket: LS1/LS6 style individual port o-ring seals or Edelbrock #7386; Carb Flange height: 4.95"; Port exit dimensions: .98"x 2.74"; Edelbrock LS1 Timing Control Module #91238 works on LS1 24x reluctor wheel (crank trigger) applications only; LS2 applications with 58x reluctor (crank trigger) requires MSD #6012 ignition controller. Please contact MSD tech for details (915) 857-5200 or www.msdperformance.com. LS1 (24x) applications can be recognized by the rear mounted cam (A) LS1 Timing Control Module #91238 works on LS1 24x reluctor wheel (crank trigger) applications only; LS2 applications with 58x reluctor (crank trigger) requires MSD #6012 ignition controller. LS1 (24x) applications can be recognized by the rear mounted cam position sensor which is black in color, while LS2 (58x) cam sensor is mounted in the timing cover and is gray in color.; Crankshaft sleeve #HP3795 and Flexplate #HP4004 is recommended when using a TH350, TH400 or 700R4 on a LS1; these items are available through Hughes Performance retailers or you can call Hughes at 800-274-RACE; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.; Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.; NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.; DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread.; Carburetor size (CFM) should be selected based on your specific engine combination.; To ensure a proper seal, Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used.
